M.S. in Health Informatics New Student Information

We are pleased that you will be joining our incoming students this fall in the Master of Science in Health Informatics program. We want to welcome you to the Department of Healthcare Leadership & Management at MUSC. The faculty and staff have been busy preparing for your arrival.

Please let me explain a little about the format of our program and course work. The program is lockstep in nature (meaning courses are taken in a prescribed sequence). Full-time students take three courses per semester; part-time students take two. The program is designed for working healthcare and IT professionals and most students will complete the program on a full-time basis.

Your classes will begin online on Monday, August 17, 2020. Orientation activities will be held virtually on Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14, 2020, followed by in-person (subject to change) on-campus course sessions held the afternoon of August 20, 2020 through the morning of Sunday, August 23, 2020. Please refer to your plan of study to see which courses you will be enrolled.

I wish you the best as you begin your studies here at MUSC. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, August 20, 2020. Please let us know if you have any questions.
