Become a CHP Student Ambassador

CHP Student Ambassadors posing for a silly picture.

We're looking for outgoing, dependable, friendly student volunteers!

As a student ambassador, you play an important role in new student recruitment. You help prospective students get to know MUSC in real life, beyond what they can read on the website. It's your chance to share your experience and help students make the best choice for their academic future.

The Role of a Student Ambassador

There are a variety of ways that student ambassadors support recruitment and the college. Some of the primary activities include:

  • Giving campus tours to prospective students.
  • Representing your program at information sessions (virtual and on-campus).
  • Helping with social media takeovers.
  • Participating in student Q&A panels (virtual and on-campus).
  • Responding to "Ask a Student" emails.
  • Helping with applicant interviews, and other CHP or MUSC events and initiatives.

Why should you participate?

Becoming a student ambassador is a great way to get involved on campus and give back. As a volunteer, you'll earn community service hours (a must for a lot of scholarship eligibility), you'll build your resume with leadership experience, get CHP swag, and free food at events and meetings.

How do I get involved?

Applications open at the start of the academic year for your program. We encourage you to join us for a scheduled Meet & Greet to get to know our current ambassadors and learn more about what it means to be an ambassador.

Summer Applications (June 2024): DPT, OTD, PAS, AFN

Fall Applications (August 2024): CVP, MHA, SLP, MSHI, DHA, HCS, MSGC
