About the Program

The Master of Science in Genetic Counseling program is an online hybrid program that prepares students to be genetic counselors capable of practicing in a variety of settings.

The unique hybrid format of the MSGC, with coursework delivered remotely and asynchronously, was developed to expand access to genetic counseling training. The MUSC Master of Science in Genetic Counseling (MSGC) program is committed to providing an environment where all students feel welcomed, valued, and included regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, and other identifying qualities.
