The MS in Health Informatics program at MUSC is a degree for health care professionals, taught by health care professionals.

Program Overview

Our 36-credit hour, CAHIIM-accredited, online hybrid program can be completed in as few as 16 months. Students are prepared to manage, use, and evaluate health care information systems such as electronic health records (EHRs), data management, and analytic systems. Coursework includes database management, health informatics foundations, health care management and operations, systems analysis and design, applied health informatics, and more.
