The College of Health Professions (CHP) offers several scholarship opportunities for currently enrolled students. Students may be eligible to apply for these scholarships after beginning their program.

CHP Scholarships

Each year the College of Health Professions awards numerous merit-based scholarships to applicants who demonstrate exceptional accomplishment and intellectual promise. Scholarships honor students with high academic standing, volunteer experience, financial need, and those who exhibit exceptional leadership roles within the college and the community. Scholarships are awarded two times a year in the fall and spring semesters. All currently enrolled students within CHP will be notified before the start of each semester when the scholarship applications open in SOARS.

SOARS (Scholarship Opportunity Awards Resource System) is MUSC’s centralized online award management system available to students from all six colleges. SOARS offers students a streamlined approach to applying for scholarships. It simplifies the application process by importing student data directly from the student record, which minimizes the amount of information asked to be provided on the application. Students can view available scholarships for which they are eligible, complete a general and college-specific application that automatically applies them to scholarships, and view and accept scholarship offers.

Below is a comprehensive listing of all the scholarships awarded within the College of Health Professions including diversity-focused scholarships and non-MUSC scholarship opportunities. Please use your netID and password to access SOARS for more information about each.

PLEASE NOTE: The scholarships listed on this page are available for currently enrolled CHP students only. Some scholarships may be open to students enrolled in any CHP program or may be Division specific. Scholarship awards range from approximately $1,000 to $3,000.
