Dear MUSC Conference Delegate,
Welcome to the 23rd Annual MUSC Update on Perfusion Conference. Although we will not be meeting in person this year, our virtual program has every intention of meeting the learning needs of the professional perfusion community. As one of the longest standing perfusion conferences, we aim to provide a quality educational experience for our conference delegates.

This year’s virtual conference features a multidisciplinary faculty including cardiovascular surgeons, nurses, researchers, and perfusionists. Session topics have been selected with the feedback received from our previous conference evaluations. Themes include ECMO, electronic data collection, blood management, standards and guidelines, perfusion staffing, and simulation. Several of our exhibiting sponsors will share the newest updates in perfusion technology. Back by popular demand is our case reports session, featuring several unique and novel clinical procedures in CPB and ECMO.

On behalf of the faculty and staff at MUSC, we look forward to providing you a great virtual learning experience. Educational and interactive events are vital to the growth of our profession. Thank you for your support of the conference. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments.
