Message from the Director

Laura DellAiera

Dear Valued Industry Partners, Conference Supporters, and MUSC Family,

What a wonderful time we had this past October celebrating the 25th anniversary of the MUSC Perfusion Conference! We enjoyed reflecting on our rich history with all of you. Seeing the past, present, and future of MUSC and Perfusion education was thought-provoking.

As such, the MUSC faculty and conference planning committee have considered how we may be able to honor this history and tradition while orienting ourselves toward the future. As was the spirit at the advent of this conference, our goal is to meet the current needs of our students and the profession. We feel it may be time for a shift from our traditional format to something new and exciting!

To give ourselves time to plan and organize what is to come of MUSC's continuing education opportunities, we have chosen to suspend our conference for 2024. We understand that many of you rely on this opportunity for CEU points and contact time with colleagues in the field. We appreciate you trusting us to provide those career opportunities and wanted to be sure to give plenty of notice of our intentions for 2024.

We are excited about the doors that this transition will open and the possibilities that exist for providing engaging continuing education to you, and our community. If you have input or ideas of what you would like to see in the future of MUSC continuing education, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Again, our goal is to serve the community by providing engaging, insightful, high-quality education for the modern clinician.

As always, thank you for your support as we look forward to exploring new innovative opportunities for continuing education.

With respect and gratitude,

Laura Dell’Aiera, MHA, CCP
