Doctor of Health Administration New Student Info

Welcome to the Department of Healthcare Leadership and Management at MUSC. We are excited to be part of your educational and professional growth!

The Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) program is lockstep in nature (meaning courses are taken in a prescribed sequence) and you will be registered for your courses administratively each semester.

  • Orientation will be held virtually on Thursday, August 12, 2021. In addition, there may be other optional orientation sessions scheduled periodically prior to the start of classes, for those interested. The agenda for your virtual sessions will be provided to you directly.

  • Classes begin online Monday, August 16, 2021

  • The fall on-campus session is scheduled for August 26-29, 2021 in Charleston. On-campus sessions are required and students should make travel and hotel arrangements accordingly. Details will be provided by the program prior to the start of the semester. All future on-campus sessions have been assigned dates that can be found in the curriculum schedule in your admissions packet.

We wish you the best as you begin your studies here at MUSC and look forward to working with you. Please let us know if you have any questions.
