Doctor of Health Administration New Student Info

Welcome to the Department of Healthcare Leadership and Management at MUSC. We are excited to be part of your educational and professional growth!

The Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) program is lockstep in nature (meaning courses are taken in a prescribed sequence) and you will be registered for your courses administratively each semester.

MUSC new student orientation will be held virtually. In addition, there may be other optional orientation sessions scheduled periodically prior to the start of classes. The agenda for your virtual orientation sessions will be provided to you directly by your Student Services Coordinator.

DHA on-campus sessions are held in Charleston at the College of Health Professions. Attendance is required and students should make travel and hotel arrangements accordingly. Details will be provided by the program prior to the start of the semester. Agendas for on-campus sessions will be provided to you directly by your Student Services Coordinator.

We wish you the best as you begin your studies here at MUSC and look forward to working with you. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Jillian Harvey, MPH, PhD
