M.S. in Health Informatics (Spring Start) New Student Information

Welcome to the Department of Healthcare Leadership & Management at MUSC. We are pleased you will be joining our incoming students this spring in the Master of Science in Health Informatics program. The faculty and staff have been busy preparing for your arrival.

The MSHI program is lockstep in nature (meaning courses are taken in a prescribed sequence). Full-time students take three courses per semester; part-time students take two. The program is designed for working healthcare and IT professionals and most students will complete the program on a full-time basis. Please refer to your plan of study to see which courses you will be enrolled.

The Virtual MSHI Welcome Session will be held via Zoom while other new student orientation information will be distributed via email. Please refer to the MSHI Academic Calendar for important dates including the required on-campus sessions.

I wish you the best as you begin your studies here at MUSC. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Abby Kazley

Sincerely,
Abby Kazley, Ph.D.
Professor and MSHI Division Director
