MS in Health Informatics (Fall Start) New Student Information

College and Program HandbooksWelcome to the Department of Healthcare Leadership & Management at MUSC. We are pleased you will be joining our incoming students this fall in the Master of Science in Health Informatics program. The faculty and staff have been busy preparing for your arrival.

The MSHI program is lockstep in nature (courses are taken in a prescribed sequence) and you will be administratively registered for courses each semester. Full-time students take three courses per semester and part-time students take two courses per semester. The program is designed for working healthcare and IT professionals and most students will complete the program on a full-time basis.

New student orientation activities will be held virtually on Monday, August 26, 2024. Your classes will begin online Tuesday, August 27, 2024 followed by an in-person on-campus session (dates to be determined). Please refer to your plan of study to confirm which courses you will be enrolled in each semester.

I wish you the best as you begin your studies here at MUSC. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Abby Kazley

Sincerely,
Abby Kazley, Ph.D.
