Residential MHA New Student Information
Welcome, new students!
You are about to embark on a very exciting and challenging program here in the Department of Healthcare Leadership & Management at MUSC. As a Master of Health Administration, you will work with faculty, staff and fellow students who are truly the best and brightest.
The RMHA program is lockstep in nature (meaning courses are taken in a prescribed sequence). RMHA students complete 5 semesters. During the summer semester students complete one web-based course as well as a full-time internship.
New Student Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16 in the College of Health Professions. We have many important orientation activities scheduled, so please plan to spend the entire two days with us. Your classes will begin on Monday, August 19. Please refer to the RMHA curriculum to see in which courses you will be enrolled.
Between now and the time you arrive on campus you may have many questions. An important person to know, if you do not already know her, is Mrs. Lauren Dickerson, the student services coordinator who will be working with you. She also manages the Executive MHA program. Please call or email Mrs. Dickerson if you have any questions.
I wish you the best as you begin your studies here at MUSC. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, August 15. Please let us know if you have any questions!
