Financial Aid

For more information about financial aid, visit the MUSC Office of Student Financial Aid website. The College of Health Professions offers a number of scholarship opportunities for students currently enrolled at the college. Students may be eligible to apply for these scholarships after they begin the program.

HRSA-MUSC Occupational Therapy Scholarships

The Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students program awarded the MUSC Division of Occupational Therapy a 5-year, $3.5 million ($650,000 per year) grant beginning July 2020 to provide scholarships for students from geographically and/or economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The grant aims to increase diversity in the workplace, increase opportunities for students with a demonstrated financial need, and promote the needs of medically underserved communities.

Each year, new and existing students in the entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program that meet the outlined eligibility requirements may apply for the scholarship. Approximately twelve scholarships will be awarded per cohort and the recipients will receive funding for at least half of tuition and book costs.
